This and that

A collection of quick projects from over the years. Most of these were built in a day or two for proposals and decks.

Who’s this for? Most of these are concepts submitted as part of responses to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) from a range of organisations.

How long? Typically as soon as possible- while juggling other active projects.

Why is this in my portfolio? Some quick fun work that showcases my skills in the absence of design systems.

What was the Scope? Design, feedback conversations with stakeholders and some more design. These are all projects that needed to be out yesterday.

Future of Automotive buying

The future of automotive buying- a prototype built to explore what the buying experience could look like as OEMs begin selling holistic transportation services instead of just vehicles. Built as part of a thought leadership piece on the future of the automotive industry.

Role: Lead Designer
Time: 2 weeks
Stakeholders: 5, Design Strategists and Futurists

Feel free to click through the prototype. (It might take a second to load)

Selected Dashboards

Dashboards can look good- eye candy and data intense at the same time. It’s no surprise then that I’ve worked on a whole bunch of them for proposals. If you can only show a couple of screens to get your point across, nothing like a dashboard to do it.

Not to say that these dashboards are well designed or even useful- these are quick 1 day explorations based on best guesses- not research and definitely not based on understanding users and their needs.

Role: Lead Designer
Time: About 3-4 hours per dashboard
Stakeholders: About 8 each, Business, Product and Tech leads

Call centre case management

This was a slightly longer project- a full two weeks. It builds out what a potential case management solution for call centre agents could look like- touching on everything from an adminstator setting up SOPs and creating processes, an agent working through a case, and finally a supervisor reviewing workload distribution and agent performance.

Role: Lead Designer
Time: 2 weeks
Stakeholders: About 20, Business, Product and Tech Leads

Feel free to click through the prototypes below- clicking anywhere on the prototype should take you to the next screen.

Use Case 1: Administrator Workplace

Use Case 2: Call Centre Agents

Use Case 3: Supervisor workflow
